yes It’s just in retrospect I keep getting pangs of doubt about them which really mucks up the creative process…
where you can see diamonds
I just see the flaws
I only notice the silence
and not the applauseI’m just too introverted
to just let it go
I am so hetic with my rhymes
that in my mind,
a fuse does blowsnap, crackle and pop
I take a wild shot
and pray to god that it hits23 June, 2008 at 5:39 pm #306565@Sgt Pepper wrote:

I’m the oracle
my synapses plugged
into the back of a computer
ever mote of hair removed from its follicleI see all within the cosmos
broken down to code
fate is to be decided
by a choice of zero
or of onewithin my darkend room I sit,
the clockwork and circuits lit
by blinking screen and diodemy reach strecthes to eternity
trapped in my own little world.
For I know all that ever was,
is and shall be
except it is all still blurred
to me,
as my eyes smoulder in lidless
socketsI must know the answer!
I must outshine the rest!
Just a sad lonely creature
who sold its soul
and for its pain recieved death23 June, 2008 at 8:53 pm #306567hmm… a thought comes to mind
if ignorance be bliss
than please just tell me this,
why did that chicken cross the road?was she being chased
by savage alpacas
or was it simply to have tea
with those dear Mad Hatters?what was on the other side
I almost cry in grief
was it to escape Mr. Fox
with his sharpened teeth? Now I know this question is profound,
but I demand an answer
did the chicken know for why she crossed
was she a luckless chancer,
…or was she just hopelessly lost?(I would ask the chicken, but she refuses to pass comment)
23 June, 2008 at 9:23 pm #306568moving through life’s dark passage
did i say dark? no not dark
just grey shadows that appear from time to time
but how many shades of grey
should i count them, dunt think
i should bother , far more important
stuff to do
like……….
like chasing shadows that appear
from out of the grey
the shadows that haunt us all
the past
the future
the now……..23 June, 2008 at 9:26 pm #306569I do see the sun
i do see the light
i am open to all
the good and the tall
whatever life happens to throw my way
i take it all on the chin. but which one i hear you say
the one thats connected
to my very soul
i take lifes good bits and the toll
it takes upon me deep inside
sod it my freind just enjoy the ride!!23 June, 2008 at 9:45 pm #306570Thoughts stampede through my mind
the endless cascade of ideas
which I often misinterpret
my mistakes realised, I fearI would with each and every word
hope that one’s heart will swell
but it seems that I have devised myself
an inescapable literacy hellToo much time to myself
I think is my ailment
I should just go outside
and stand in the sun prevailentThe only thing is that
each and every time
I cannot help but
to think in rhyme
the words become less sublime
with the passing of each lineoh dear, I’ve done it again
at least it could be worse
I could’ve stood in the rain23 June, 2008 at 9:49 pm #306571@Forget Me Not wrote:

I could’ve stood in the rainyou are sweet, do stop punishing yourself though! I love your rhymes, very inspiring. And next time I get thoughts about something more interesting than a brussel sprout you will inspire me to write them
23 June, 2008 at 10:18 pm #306572the brussel sprout, is
not a vegetable to
be sniffed at, is it(I cannot even
write a half decent haiku
what am I to do?)24 June, 2008 at 12:51 am #306573The bewitching hours calls once again
and I am transformed
free to run wild,
no longer conformed
to the world of mere menThe beast has been let loose
I howl my glee to the stars
‘I shug off my noose,
of responsibilty, so hear
me Neptune, Saturn and Mars’The feel of the wind
as it rushes through my hair
with child-like joy I leap
and do that which I would not dareI see the sun
rising in the East
and I cry, for now
my sweet dear beast
has to slumberI bid it sweet dreams
and fervently I tell
of how I and he tomorrow night
will once more be under Luna’s spell -
