From shadow to Light

How long are the nights,
a wait that seems an age,
darkness with no light in the distance,
this road is well travelled.

Drifting endlessly on,
no direction nor affection,
flickers of hope that quickly fade away,
Will this all end in vain someday?

Then it came charging oh what a find,
loneliness is but a state of mind,
Its just the truth ,not being unkind,
love yourself and strive to please.
