Day Two
The heavens opened
Iv’e just taken my bin bags onto the grass verge and I’ve squelshed all the way
I’m sat here with soggy trouser bottoms and remains of dead squashed slugs on the soles of my shoes (not my pet ones I hasten to add, my daughter assalted them a few weeks ago)
Luckily I cut my grass yesterday but, again, the hedge and borders will have to wait, as will the voracious maneating honeysuckle. I will just have to check it for human remains when the rain stops :?
