Mullets were worn at half mast for hours afterwards in simple tribute to a kind and generous man who gave toys to strangers children ….. etc etc (continued for 94 pages).

All the usual suspects will be there, crying and wailing as they often do when a total stranger dies.
There will be loads of candles to light and hold in trembling hands. Tissues will be provided to mop all those tearstained eyes and blot all the running mascara (and that’s just UGO’s).
Naturally, as with all ersatz outpourings of internet grief, there will be the opportunity to place flowers against convenient railings with heartfelt little messages on them. If users care to post their personal details and their private addresses, small gifts will be sent to them, including toys for their children.
If you can type a word in edgeways in between all the mass sobbing, you can post your own personal message of condolence.
Finally there will be a whip round for a few beers and pies afterwards whilst his mullet is buried.
15 February, 2007 at 7:21 am #259649Brilliant…………………may his mullet rest in peace!
15 February, 2007 at 5:33 pm #259650Any e-mails of condolence will be welcomed by forumhostPB who has graciously said he will prepare a tribute on here if he receives enough messages…and grow his hair into a mullet and wear a gold lamé thong as a tribute to a great man.
20 February, 2007 at 10:33 pm #259651All this reminds me of the ponderous American comedian George Burns, who had a big 100th birthday bash when he was 80 because he reckoned he wouldn’t live to be 100. The irony is that he did actually reach the age of 100, but presumably he couldn’t have had a big party as he’d already had the 20 years earlier!!!
21 February, 2007 at 12:13 am #259652A stringfellow death will be the biggest pizz up in living memory, hope im invited
