We could do with a goalscorer like him at the Mackems now !!I saw a tribute today on BBC – ffs raquel welch was queueing up to see him so he must have been a big star in his day!!! Seems he was decent lad too.

no one called him a superstar,
i dont think the stardom thing was about his on pitch personality, but by the sounds of it he was a celeb off the pitch also
