Each to their own i say….. It is really up to her what she does with her body.
30 May, 2009 at 9:55 am #2132173. “She” is presumably the new wife – however, from the attitude shown by the daughter (as described above) it would appear that the daughter is more bothered by how much SHE will get than with her father’s happiness.
I was thinking that too PB.

16 July, 2009 at 11:25 am #213220on a sad note :
A Spanish woman who became the world’s oldest new mother when she gave birth to twins aged 66 has died.
Maria del Carmen Bousada, a single former shop assistant, was 69.
The twin boys were born in December 2006 after she underwent in vitro fertilisation.
Spanish newspapers said she died on Saturday after being diagnosed with cancer shortly after giving birth.
She said in an interview in 2007 that she had lied about her age – saying she was 55 – in order to skirt the age limit for single women at the California fertility clinic where she was treated.16 July, 2009 at 11:54 am #2132213 yr old motherless twins.. well done that woman

Wonder if pple would have the same reaction if she’d been a younger mother who’d died in a tragic accident, still be 3 yr old motherless twins wouldnt there.
16 July, 2009 at 12:11 pm #213223True but there’d have been way less risk and they may have been left with a young family around them. Hell even the granparents would have been younger than her when she had them in all likelehood. Cause we can doesnt mean we should
There is not one solitary person on this planet can argue having kids at 66 is natural16 July, 2009 at 12:13 pm #213224As for Miss Bousada’s cancer, it is understood that the former shop worker had been told that the drugs used during her fertility treatment may have hastened the advance of the disease.
It is known that some types of cancer are sensitive to hormones associated with both pregnancy and fertility treatment. Miss Bousada told doctors in Los Angeles that she was 55 when she travelled there to undergo IVF treatment.
