For believer or non-believer
In family or solitude
The dark, cold time of winter
Cries out for light and upliftIn conflict or in harmony
In silence or in hubbub
Each year looks the better for
A few days of toleranceWe stop,
Make sure the ones we care for most are fed and cheered
And extend our goodwill far beyond our tiny circles
So that a world pulled at by hopelessness and fear
Might seem, if not a better place
At least like one in which goodness always has it’s spaceTo all in JC who have befriended, ignored, supported, exasperated, entertained, insulted and uplifted me.

a turkey for one..
the cranaberrie jelly from Markies is bought,
the turkey, a bronze,, a beauty to spot.
Tescos “finest”. so free reighned it seems
of xmas’s passed, and xmas Redeems:
are family orientated the Jumper for dad.
the Brut aftershave, that smelt sooo bad.
the new x box,, for all to share,
the mums and dads that answer a prayer.
back in My day a wee raleigh bike,I didnt want it..
oh for a media Hopper,, i wanted THAT raleigh chopper.life moves on and memories stay,
the kids tell me.. they LOVED that day.
the barbie van, that took forever to build, Castle Greyskull
that never thrilled.
A lump o Plastic and life goes on.
The family and the grandad gone.
Just me and mine and Mario Wheel,and love.. Oh YEAH..another generationLove it !!

So as i sit with the Turkey for One..
the kids are busy, hell id rather them have fun.
I will remember the day, and this is NO fable,
to get me out the kitchen I would Lay the table.I get invited, dont get me wrong,
but misery being, in another family throng.
Im almost excited, for this I admitChastitys wedding, staceys leaving and Tracey barlow fit “it”.
Not to worry.. :) The gravy is perfect, the turkey is stuffed.
theres enough for me, and all of us.
so raise a cheer Until next Year.. for me the hostess with the Most,
and slainte from the family ghost..Back @ you POli :D
