Pats difficulties in accepting her arduous life.

Anyone being invited into her home now would perhaps see discarded beer cans, cider bottles and barking stray dogs, yet it’s a home, a haven that Pats has created out of the turmoil of her world. She’s undoubtedly achieved a lot already.
In order to mark Pats accomplishments, I’m proposing a poetry reading night in her local (so long as she hasn’t been banned again!) with members of JustChat reading poems about overcoming adversity, obviously without any long words so Pats can enjoy them too, followed by throwing a couple of pound in a bucket so that the lady herself can buy a £5 leccy card or Cider or something. I’m suggesting that the night itself should be organised for Halloween, just so none of us lose sight of the pain and terror that’s made Pats the person she is, the person we all love and respect.
