Well last night Forum 3 was full up for quite a while and you had great difficulty in getting in. The 40’s room had 32 users at 11.00pm dropping down to 21 users later on. Even at 12.30 am there were approx. 170 users signed in to the Forum.
Yes there may be a slight dip in traffic for a few days, but as people get used to the new forum software, they will return and enjoy each other’s company.
The fact is that numerous ‘smaller’ chatsites on the internet would love to have the numbers in total that JustChat has in only one of its three Forums.
You should have been there 3 hours earlier. The room numbers dropped from over 30 to 5 in a matter of seconds. The poor ikkle tikes were falling over themselves trying to get out the door into their new found Utopia. And for those who didnt have the addy DOA was being suprisingly helpful by pcing them it post haste lol.
I thought they would all be back within 24 hours. Seems like they didnt even last the night… :lol:
Got to agree with you there sweetass. It’s always the same old same old. Every time we have a change around on the site, the entire place erupts in some sort of mass outrage.
Assorted divas flounce out cussing and blinding – telling abcolutely EVERYBODY that they’ll never return …. not ever …. not under any circumstances and they’ve found a much better site and THEY are going there NEVER to return etc etc.
A few hours later, it all settles down again and our users go back to enjoying themselves …… which let’s face it, is what JustChat is all about.
BTW: For those who don’t already know, ASCII Software Ltd (who licence their software to us) are about to launch the final version of the upgrade to the ”old” chat software. This will be compulsory on all their customers. So the poor sods that run chatsites on the current version are soon going to be in for something of a shock when the upgrade hits them.

I do hate to say this but………….
No one likes change and this was too much too soon.
I have spent most of last night in msn helping people to get into forum 1.
It should have been done slowly and trying out in forum 3 first, not the newcomer’s room.
The main troublemakers who lead this “walk out” did surprise me.
I was personally shocked to see it was that those old mingers cath56 and vampyre behind this.
Has I look round the site today, there are a few regs missing from forum 2.
Forum 3 was busy but the hard-core regs had gone.
The real test will be tonight.
And I would like to thank Martin for making my life harder; do you know how hard it is to keep 3 sites on my screen and trying to keep up with all the abuse?

get yer facts right doa lol ……….. i didnt ‘lead’ anywhere!! the fact is that most of the people i talk to were in the ‘new’ chat room and to be honest some of my freinds cannot get into jc with the new format as they cant load the java programme thingy ..(dont yer just love the techy in me? lol) so of course if there was somewhere else fer me to chat to them other than msn then of course i’m gonna go chat to them…..thats ‘freinds’ doa somethign that may be a little lacking in your life…….. i digress tho………
anyway i have said since going into forum 1 to check out the new format that i actually quite like it, in fact i was in forum 3 this afternoon. I understood that this is a free world for us to wander as we please…..
Oh and fasty as far as being adult is concerned there is no way on gods earth i am EVER gonna be a card carryin grown up lol…… :wink: :wink:
