Hi Butterfly. Do you have a printer?
Why not print this thread off, have a read through with Nick or a friend.
There are plenty of options on here for you to consider.

we are going to see our local MP tomorrow. As for all the other stuff I dont know coz Nick hasn’t really said anything to me.

That is why it would be a good idea to print it off, sit down together have a cuppa and a chat over the important bits.
Time is of the essence though.
Let us know how it goes with the MP… you could show him this thread? (another reason to print it off)… he may have a bit of legal knowledge himself you never know.
while i agree this is an interesting case,,and life sometimes is NOT fair. life goes on !
im getting the vibe you want more and more. yes the cica tarrifs ARE disgusting ! and yes LIFE is a kunt !Nick is alive..you have him ! we could walk down a street tomorrow morning,ANY one of us and recieve a horror of horrors !

some folks have feck all !i expect to be shot down in flames now.. I lost my husband and because he died before he dared reach the age of 45..i get sod all ! Im losing sympathy here !
no we are not going to shoot you down in flames and we are sorry for your loss, if i didnt have the responsibilities i wouldn’t be so forceful with this, but i want to provide for my family. why should he suffer for the things that i have lost. sometimes its good to have a contrast to help you realise, and to help you keep your feet on the ground.
I dont mean to hurt your feelings or upset you, but it seems like you are still angry about all this obviously, and i feel that it may do you good to talk to someone. I have no idea what it feels like to be in your position but if you do need to talk i can give you my email address if you feel you need to talk or just scream with anger. Take care x

suffice to say a really bad sexual attack on someone close to me,,and cica HALFING the “award! as she contributed to being attacked as she had 2 half lagers ! so therefore “aSKED” for it. !
there are no magic wands. and while i may have moaned in private,no amount of petition taking would have helped !
6 thousand pound ! fir a life shattereing event ! I had to nurse “them” back to reality,while suffering in greif.I ran the gamut of feeling sheer guilt,as i took a job when my husband was killed. I left them alone,,i turned my back and the bogey man got her..!6 thousand fvcking pound ! and HE got 10 years ! lets just say HE is the victim now !

If you think it would help or assist, I will gladly publish her details on here (they are a matter of public record anyway) including her e-mail address and urge ALL our members to mail her in support of your issue.

I was not being contrary,i was reminding “butterfly” that she still had lots of good times to look forward too. ALL i wanted was a life of seeing my own kids okay,and they are. My life changed 7 years ago,i was at an age when i was deemed too young to be a widow ! so NO benefits ! No one reached out a helping hand to me and MY kids.apart from bloody good pals here in Dundee !
Life changed for me too that snowy day.and its not about ME..
i tried to reassure her by telling her the opposite side of the cruel coin of life.

Well ruby , you won’t be getting any from me OK? You forget that a while ago you told me the details of your story in another context and whilst I might take the mickey out of you on other matters … I would never mock you on this subject – ever !!!
