no photos from me at the mo hun, Im sure you understand lol.

They are just standard potted ones from M& S.

One is white the other purple with other colours and thats the one that is dead, but has came back to life before.

how often do you water then?

not much cus they like dry roots we water ours every day in the summer here has you know it gets very hot here ,,, but for over in uk id say only once a week ,,, are they in soil or have you potted the in the orchid mix

Ive left them in the soil they were in, but re-potted one into a nicer pot. Ive not added anything, I do water them once a week even when they are appearing “dead” (I like to think they are sleeping  ). I forgot about you being over there, what a difference the summers must make for growing them.

I brought mine, well…. they were given to me at a year apart, but both die at totally different times, I thought they would share a cycle and flower and shed them simultaneously..

funny things they are but I do love em. 8)

we have over 30 and they dont dieoff over here they are just about to start floweren ,, they flower in winter here wich i fines funny cus they love dry heat and grow off host plant well the air born rooted ones do.. the others which are cymbidiums ( which i think is wot you have ) grow better in pots with orchid mix its not like soil its alot harder so it dont quash the roots a bit like small lumps of wood sounds funny but they grow better if ther roots can breath
