Work and Pensions Secretary Yvette Cooper is the sole remaining female ‘proper’ cabinet minister after Brown’s reshuffle.
I know Harriet Harman is Olympics minister and there are a few others who are allowed to go to cabinet meetings but they don’t really count.
However, feminists needn’t despair because the cabinet is still a bunch of old women!
I simply loved the “revenge of the chipmunk” comment, made when Hazel Blears so acrimoniously resigned.
How wonderfully accurate.
