    An American man is facing up to 30 years in jail for…stealing a doughnut. Not just that though, but on his way out of the shop, he pushed (pure feckin evil) an employee thus giving a ‘strong arm robbery’ angle as the push is being treated as a minor assault. That alone carries a 15 year prison sentence. But as he already has a criminal record, he’s facing 30 years.

    Thank f**k he didn’t eat it or he’d probably be put on death row.

    There was a man in UK who had spent 22 years in prison for setting fire to a curtain in a church when he was a teenager. That was some time ago – I wonder if he’s still inside – he was detained ‘at her majesty’s pleasure’ and so could still be.
