Thing to remember Ruby… things will get better, I know when Im feeling down the last thing I need is advice from well meaning people, the one thing I keep in my mind though is …. things will get better. Its not a weakness to share, sometimes crying can be a therapy. Biggest hugs Ruby , you will feel better soon x
24 June, 2011 at 8:16 am #461957I’m doing the Lottery today – hope that makes me happy! :D
JenJen, what a lovely thing to do! mwa mwa xxx
I have done stuff for charity, walked friggin 40 miles, 4yrs in a row along the tow path between Windsor Castle and Putney (Nightingale Walk, if ya google it, my pic is up in the Nightingale pub, and NO it is NOT one of the guide dogs for the blind we bought! lol), not being able to walk for 3 days afterwards blah de blah, but, somehow, when I left work, lit up a fag, then got to the tube station and gave half of the rest of it to a begger kinda meant more?!
However, Jehova witnesses do NOT make me laugh at 7.30am on a Sunday morning!
If you don’t see me tomorrow, it means I won the lottery and whoooooohoooooo – here’s to hope!

Sometimes life gets us that way and all we can do is keep on keeping on. Remember we have to have the lows to appreciate the highs. You know where I am if you want to sound off xxxx

anyone tried Champix ( serious question) .?
thanks xx
25 June, 2011 at 10:50 am #461961Do NOT touch Champix – I have tried it and I know loadsa peeps who told me ‘not’ to, including my mum. It gives you a feeling like you are floating or summit – difficult to describe – anyway, it made me wanna have a fag to get rid of the ridiculous feeling – so that was bliddy stupid in the long run!
Think ya gonna have to go cold-turkey – if you decide to do that, tell me, and I will do it with you – I need to give up, badly – no dosh!
Let me know!
ps. no cheating allowed

Not me, but someone I know did and had a bad experience…erratic mood swings and at the lowest ebb feeling suicidal!
I prefer to do things as naturally as possible, there’s too little understanding of the long-term effects of many medications for my liking. Have you tried hypnotherapy?
25 June, 2011 at 11:23 am #461963Are you talking about giving up smoking?
My bro in law used some tablets off the dr to give up and was ok, my sister used the patches and was ok and my mum used a plain and simple inhilator thing and was ok….
I think your dr can help you loads with this now.Good luck… x
