It’s the Same the Whole World Over

She was just a poor man’s daughter,
Victim of the rich man’s whim,
For he fu/cked her and he left her,
With a sore and bleeding quim.

    CHORUS:
It’s the same the whole world over,
It’s the poor that get the blame,
It’s the rich that get the pleasure,
Ain’t it all a bloody shame.

Oh, she went up to the city,
For to hide her bleeding shame,
But a Labour leader fu/cked her,
Put her on the street again.

See him in the House of Commons,
    Passing laws to combat crime,
While the victim of his evil,
Walks the streets at night in shame.

See him with his hounds and horses,
See him strutting at his club,
While the victim of his whoring,
Drinks her gin inside a pub.

See him riding in his carriage,
Past the gutter where she stands,
He has made a stylish marriage,
While she wrings her ringless hands.

See him at the fine theater,
In the font row with the best,
While the girl that he has ruined,
    Entertains a sordid guest.

See her on the bridge at midnight,
    Throwing snowballs at the moon,
She said, “sir, I’ve never had it,”
But she spoke too fuc/king soon.

Standing on the bridge at midnight,
    Picking blackheads from her crotch,
She said, “Sir, I’ve never had it,”
He said, “No, not fu/cking much.”

    See her standing in Picadilly,
    Offering her aching quim,
    She is now completely ruined,
It was all because of him.

See him seated in his carriage.
    Riding homeward from the hunt,
He got riches from his marriage,
She got sores upon her cu/nt.

Standing on the bridge at midnight,
    Throwing cu/nt-rags at the moon,
First a scream, a splash, Oh goodness!
Has she done a fuc/king swoon?

When they dragged her from the river,
Water from her clothes they wrung,
And they thought that she had drowned,
Till her corpse got up and sung…..

Then there came a wealthy pimp,
Marriage was the tale he told,
She had no one else to take her,
So she sold her soul for gold.

    CHORUS:
It’s the same the whole world over,
It’s the poor that get the blame,
It’s the rich that get the pleasure,
Ain’t it all a bloody shame.

Pete Docherty gets away with it why not them

Perhaps they are leaving them as bait to catch the dealers.

Round where I live there was a supposed dealer that everone knew about, who lived in what the kids called the ‘Drug House’. Apparently the police had swooped once or twice but never found anything and the dealer carried on.

My theory was that the police were waiting until they had pieced together the chain of dealers up as far as the Mr. Bigs. Sure enough, a year or two ago, there was a big regional drugs swoop and they got this guy, among many others. The Drug House has been closed and locked up ever since.

I see pictures of Amy Winehouse in magazines with white shyte up her nose monthly. Everyone knows she takes it regularly and oh dear god – if anyone believes the crap about her taking a wrong pill recently sending her to hospital – they need their head tested.

Especially her parents. She needs a fucking good shake because one day she won’t be returning home from hospital.

    Why isn’t she investigated?

Cos she lives in the same world as Pete Docherty, Kate Moss, Peaches Geldof, etc etc etc etc

Seems more and more every day you can do as you please, if your either a celebrity or if you have copious amounts of money. Joe Public of course, we all know would be treated entirely differently.

Indeed. Joe Public, for example, wouldn’t be constantly followed by the press and scrutinised so carefully. He could, and often does in my experience, get up to much the same stuff as Amy and Pete without ever running into a policeman at all and go happily about his day.

If, Bob Marley forbid, Amy does come a cropper one day, I’d lay odds it will be more to do with the constant pressure Daily Mail and Sun reading morons bring into her life than her Columbian marching powder habits. Why are you all so interested? That’s what I find so baffling. Bunch of old fish-wives, you lot.

As for the couple in Mary’s original article, amongst the moral outrage it states quite clearly that they got the treatment they received because they could afford to buy that much without it necessarily meaning they were dealing. Your average lad doesn’t have two grands worth of gear hanging around without it meaning exactly that and, so, they are punished with that in mind. Quite simple, really, when you set aside your frothing moral indignation for a second and have a bit of a think.

Personally I don’t read the Mail, Sun, or any other newspaper.

I do watch the news though,,,,and frankly I get sick of seeing her face, amongst the rest of them, and hearing about oh poor amy this and poor amy that. Self inflicted!!!

Peaches Geldof too lately, rushed to hospital with suspected overdose, oh well, like mother like daughter

What a shining example of humanity you are, Cas.
