I go to sleep just to change my scene
but i wake up to another dream
I see the leaves as they fall to ground
from spring to autuum
flowers blossom and make no sound
for all i seek i see grey clouds
and when it rains, it rains for hours

and on and on the sun goes down
my shadow lost, my love unfound
stronger and stronger as time goes by
my hearts broken but still it drives

on and on, i see myself go weaker and stronger

through the seasons, getting longer

I go to walk just to change my ways
but i turn back, scared and afraid
i see my childhood playing in the fields
through summer and through the snow
trying to remember just how i used to feel
so i beg for love without begging for me
but once i am trapped it will never be free

my hope lost and my life in doubt
stranger to stranger I look for a sign
