As for the diving there’ll be plenty of that going on down at Stamford Bridge this season.
Its not the water it’s the 10m drop into the water is the problem
going back to the remarkable Beccy Adlington…..
She’s achieved all this on £12,000-a-year funding, plus £1,000-a-year from Mansfield council and a bit extra from her parents, and is now hoping to earn enough in sponsorship to pay for her goggles, ‘which aren’t cheap at £25 a pair’. What a star, and on top of that we’ve just had our most successful Olympic 48 hours in history.
