Olympics

The olympics have been the most awe-inspiring sporting event ever witnessed on the planet. They have been a credit to the Chinese a credit to the athletes themselves and a credit to anyone with the slightest interest in sport. Its a shame it has to end.

It is also a pity that people see fit to moan and groan for the four years previous from everything to cost…. polution… human rights… and any other tiny thing that gives someone a platform to have a rant. No doubt we will have to listen to another four years of drivel leading up to the London olympics.

Britains athletes have shone for all the right reasons and provided the country with a solid platform from which to build on… not only on a sporting front… but providing a positive footing for all aspects of the forthcoming London games. I only hope Boris Johnstone doesnt undo all that good work by making himself (and ultimately Britain) look like complete fools in front of billions of people on Sunday. I’m feeling embarressed already and he has only just got there.
