I’m sure he does know how to report an offence and I’d be surprised if he has never co-operated with the police on an obvious breach of the law. A friend of mine runs a much smaller site than this and she’s had to report a suspected case of paedophilia and pass transcripts and IP addresses to them.

In the case of less serious offences, it doesn’t have be down to the owner of the site though. Any of us can report it to the police too, if they thought there was a case to answer they would then approach the site owner for transcripts, IP addresses etc.
