Who’s looking forward to the Olympics in 2012?
Personally I can’t wait I love watching most sports and seen as the hub of it is only going to be about 40 minutes away from me I’m really excited.
Heard on the news there are lots of dodgy websites selling dud tickets….so beware…its usually somthing I would fall for :lol: Tickets for events do not go on sale until 2010 I think :lol:@kent f OBE wrote:

2 pairs of tickets to all events and front row seats for the mens diving…I want to check out male divers “techniques” and make sure they are wearing the correct size speedos :wink:

I’m looking forward to the Olympics but I’ll be staying firmly at home and watching it on TV! I went to the Commonwealth Games in Manchester a few years back to watch some of my favourite events but was so disappointed because the views were naturally from one angle so you often missed the full glory of a vault, a particularly good floor exercise or high jump. Naturally there were no action replays so it was over in a second and never got a chance to see a gymnasts legs not being held together and hence losing points and you didn’t get the benefit of an expert commentator explaining all the nuances of what was going on.
So, I’ll be leaving it to Auntie Beeb to show me everything I’ve become accustomed to.
Bores me to death actually – dreading the sodding Olympics. :roll:
to be honest I am not looking forward to them being in this town ( we have the sailing etc being held here ) as our roads are total shi te, there’s already gridlock most of the time and only one route to and from the event location. It’s bad enough when we get invaded by the usual grockles . . add the olympic watchers it’s going to be insane :?
I prefer the winter olympics personally

Agreed susie – my reli’s are moving out for a few weeks when its going on. :lol:
