I’ve never been asked for ID anywhere, I was in Ayr a couple of weeks after my 18th and bought Halloween & Halloween II on video (eighteen rating) no problem even though I looked no different than a few years ago. Infact, the only time I’ve ever been asked my age (note: I wasn’t asked for ID before some smartarse tries to point out that I’m contradicting myself) was when I wanted to buy a CD. It had a ‘Parental Guidance’ sticker and as I was only 14 they wouldn’t sell me it.
Like I had never heard swear words before  Somebody thought I was 14 once when I was 19, in the pub being served alcohol (I was a bit more partial to it then) Who knows what folk think now, but I think I look younger than 26.

What annoyed me was being 11 and buying stamps for my mum at the post office. Gave the lady the money and she said “thanks son”.

11 August, 2008 at 10:14 pm #361336Age is just a number. I don’t like the getting older bit though, I suppose the knack is to grow old gracefully.
Who would resort to the knife to try and wind back time?

cant change your insides or live longer so I dont see the point either. Plus last time I had an op and a gen an I was in complete agony after, I have a very low pain threshold, so it would be a no from me, no matter how vain I am (and I am a bit).
