My 10p worth.
A hardcore of regular chatters who have been on this site for donkeys years think it is they that in fact run/own the site. They wrongly assume their ‘long service’ automatically entitles them to more status than anyone else. They automatically expect the Guides to back them up without question or hesitation. If the Guides do not respond in a manner deemed acceptable to the hardcore then it is the Guides who are then apparently at fault. There are one or two dodgy Guides but the majority do a good job, given the circumstances. In that they will warn or remove abusive/argumentative chatters whoever they are and despite how long they have been members.
Anyone who with an opinion, not deemed acceptable by the ‘long service’ crew, is often ostracised and then alienated as a direct consequence. I have personally witnessed this rather odd behaviour frequently. Then the psychology gets interesting. It gets interesting because it soon becomes apparent who has a backbone or who doesn’t. I would argue that those with a backbone are those who challenge the clique who dominate, including those dominating these boards. The same chatters airing the same view over and over and over again.
Dead wood who don’t actually bring anything to the party and who should have moved on, or been forcibly removed, years ago.
I won’t patronize you Laine (unlike others) by telling you how you should respond to the trolls stalking you, but what I will say is this. You are clearly a threat to them because you have an opinion. A social life outside of Justchat and a mind of your own.
Well apparently we ain’t allowed an opinion if we don’t agree with those who think they run the site and by that I don’t mean the guides or host n apparently u aren’t allowed to chat to folk whom they don’t like :roll:

This is all so confusing.
Can all the baddies wear black and all the good ‘un’s wear white please – like in all the old TV progs and movies. Oh wait, then I’d have to ask people what they’re wearing. Scrap that.
Ok.. can somebody who is trustworthy and a good judge of character, please compile a list of chat goodies and baddies so I know who to cheer and who to boo and hiss at?
