I do largely eat nowt but crap – never liked fruit or veg much as a kid and my tastes haven’t changed. The smell of some fruit turns my stomach and the rest are tasteless, just like most veg (don’t make that mukky – naming no names….) Give me a square sausage and tattie scone roll over a salad anyday of the week!
They do provide some entertainment though. For instance, I work with CCTV and the weekend game of ‘Whoever told her she looks good in that needs feckin shot’ is good fun. And there was the guy on Ricki Lake who was crying cos his kids ask him ‘Daddy, why are you fat?’
Simple – ‘I eat too much’ It’s not rocket science. Then he was bleating about how he can’t even cross the road to watch his kids play baseball. Aye, but he always makes it to the fridge. Or there was the guy on Springer, so fat he couldn’t get out of his bedroom. All I could think was ‘Why doesn’t he just go back out the way he came in? Assuming that he didn’t just become obese overnight’

you might look thin on the outside, but imagine what your insides are like
even thin people should watch what they eat and excercise you know ](*,)
So you know all about my exercise regime do you? You know that getting to work takes me from one end of the town to the other? That I don’t drive so walk everywhere anyway? Over the course of the week, god knows how many miles I cover on foot.
As for ‘imagine what you’re insides are like’ I’m perfectly aware of all that – but I’m also aware that I don’t drink or smoke.
I don’t just sit on my erse all day eating chips. Anyway, I’m not obese so go and start on some fatties that don’t make any feckin effort!
Nice one Johnnyboy!!!  8)
Wind me up and watch me go

17 October, 2007 at 11:03 pm #291576Having morbidly obese kids should be classed as child abuse because thats exactly what it is
Being morbidly obese as an adult however is ONLY the fault of the obese person themselves
Its amazingly coincidental that we have such a plague of glandular problems in this country that miraculously cause weight gain without the person having to overeat :o ……..
WOW, shame the poor ickle africans and etheopians cant be injected with THAT magical gene innit?
The acid test for the cause of obesity is this, make someone go with nothing but water AND have to do two hours exercise a day for two weeks
If they lose weight then its linked to eating, if they gain weight or stay static then it isnt
Easy peasy
Anyone care to guess how many WOULDNT lose weight?
Zero perhaps?
17 October, 2007 at 11:06 pm #291577Anyway. smokers and drinkers for the moment arent a good comparison, they pay in specified product taxes many times more into the system than illnesses that MIGHT be related to those habts cost, without them and their taxes the NHS would have crumbled decades ago
Overeaters on the other hand CANT make that claim and of the three groups are the only one that IS a financial drain to the NHS, the other two will have paid enough extra taxes for that indulgence to deserve private quality health care and a gold plated bed to recouperate in
17 October, 2007 at 11:09 pm #291578Its quite ironic that Ive just started watchin a program on BBC3 about teenage boys who are anorexic!
The complete other end of the scale is that a lot of kids are now over obsessed with images of what they should look like.
My ten year old asked me today if he is fat  he is tiny! well not really tiny but normal. I dont think I even gave my body image a thought at such a young age.
I was too busy having fun!
Then again he even uses deodrant….. think he is gonna be a handful
