Am I the only one who is fed up with hearing about people blaming everyone but themselves for their obesity?
society is to blame, they say. Of course it is, the huge quantity of junk food they shove in their mouths on a daily basis has nothing to do with it at all
And another thing, people are quick to criticise smokers and drinkers for taking up NHS resources, what about the obese? Its just the same, its all self inflicted.
As for obese kids, i feel sorry for them. What a great start in life, ill health and bullying. I blame the parents, its neglect.

17 October, 2007 at 9:01 pm #291552Its whoever they want to pick on each week.
Week one – Smokers
Week two – Drinkers
Week three – Fatties
Week four – MotoristsWe are all put on this earth for one certain unavoidable fact – death.
How we choose to live our lives up until that time should be our own choice.
Im sick of this government treating us like we are kids.
As adults we know what is dangerous but we are mostly clever enough (or stupid enough) to make our own choices and face the consequences.
Life is for living and it dont last long!
17 October, 2007 at 9:02 pm #291553Or if we are talking adults.. well it’s those who shove the food down the neck, when I stopped smoking I put on some right chunk, gladly I have lost it all and a bit more now, I knew what it was, I was eating and drinking too much! It aint rocket science!
17 October, 2007 at 9:03 pm #291554I blame the fridge. Can’t blame the parents – how does that excuse those who decide that now they’ve reached a certain age becoming a fat b’stard is the main priority?
17 October, 2007 at 9:27 pm #291555I’m talking about small children who can only eat whats put in front of them. I’ve seen parents on their way to school giving their kids crisps and sweets for breakfast and its only just gone 8am!

That is disgusting! Everyone knows that stuff is full of shyte so obviously they don’t care!
17 October, 2007 at 9:35 pm #291557I used to do that sort of thing (albeit my parents didn’t know) and continued the trend into secondary school. I’m thin as a rake despite (still) eating nowt but crap so either I’m just very lucky or these kids are eating far more than their parents think.
17 October, 2007 at 9:37 pm #291558you might look thin on the outside, but imagine what your insides are like
even thin people should watch what they eat and excercise you know ](*,)
17 October, 2007 at 9:42 pm #291559This is all clever tactics to make us bicker with each other about what others do when we all know the real problems are much more important
Crime
Drugs
Criminals
Immigration
Education
Employment
Prisons
PurvsIt takes our minds away from it all for a while and gives the government a well deserved (ha!) breather…
Believe me its so true.
