Based on the hair colour alignment when it comes to voting, I would have voted for Romney. :P

. . . . Yes wordsworth, 14% who don’t want to jump on the race card bandwagon the way you . . . do. Get over it.

Bradley Wiggins is living proof that even if you win your race card, it doesn’t stop you getting knocked over by a truck

Ethnic minorities should not be made to feel they are playing the race card

They’re not. Even if they do.

Well Terry says “they’re not, even if they do” …..I’m so glad you cleared that up for me…my feelings must’ve been playing games with me…sheesh!

I can never understand the point you’re trying to make. :?

Black Americans are the only racial group who didn’t go to America by choice, were held as chattel slaves for centuries, and then brutally excluded from life in a way that Terry wasn’t.

Obama’s elelction as President was a seriously important symbolic victory.

Yes, it was symbolic, but 14% of black Americans have now decided they’ve had enough of symbolism and Tony Blair’s retrospective apologies.

Maybe it’s time you stood down from the pulpit and while you’re at it put aside these constant smears about me being a racist. You’ve apologised for every post and accusation you’ve made about me, but it would be quite nice if – instead of apologising – you could resist the urge to brand me a racist in the first place.

    read it, Terry…

    I’m not sayng you’re a racist…

meerely that you have no idea whatsoever of the feeling of black people in the US.

I taught in the Deep South, I know the legacy, saw it, had it spelled out for me…

also…the legacy of British blacks (sorry panda and kenty I am using the term loosely) has still to be udnerstood by most Brits..

the Caribbean has its own brutal history, and the British were particularly brutal there….the legacy of slavery has an impact there too..

I had an idea once, didn’t do me any good, didn’t stop me though . . . .
