Yeah its not half bad! I enjoyed it i must say. He says that some of the other euro geeks love it and think it will win. Bonus!

Um he was probably there live Beatty to watch that Finnish guy. Now thats sad. He went up to Glasgow purely for a party to watch Daz Sampson win our british competition.

    That is quite sad.

Ok… I’ve just heard the first half of the Eurovision songs and I think it’s time to share my thoughts with you 8) Be welcome to join me as soon as you feel like it

    Armenia
    artist: Andre
Horrible eyebrows, not the best singer I know :?
    song: Without your love
Melody isn’t that bad but the lyrics aren’t so special, mediocre actually :|

    Bulgaria
    artist: Mariana Popova
Good voice at firts but doesn’t carry through the chorus,
turns into screaming and hurts my ears so much I want to cry…
    song: Let me cry
That’s about it, don’t really have anything against this song,
    but don’t feel a need to hear it again any soon. =;

    Slovenia
    artist: Anzej Dezan
Totally wanna-be George Michael. (If he’s not gay I don’t know who is…)
He has very good voice though!
    song: Mr Nobody
Nothing but a terrible disco -beat ](*,) .
This song should have never been made.
(reminds me of Bosnia Herzegovina few years ago… if anyone remembers Deen… he was good compared to this!!!)

    Andorra
    artist: Jennifer
Copies the image of Christina Aquilera with the blond hair, the red lipstick, the boobs… :P
    song: Sense tu
A bit different than other Eurovision songs. A bit old fashioned I think,
might have some style after all. :-k

    Belarus
    artist: Polina Smolova
Sexy body, nice voice, energetic dance group
    song: Mum
this has been done like 1000 times before and much better too.
    The chorus is awful :x

    Albania
    artist: Luiz Ejlli
Idols –winner no kidding! Cute boy, reminds me of young Bruce Willis  .
    Good singer! 8-[
    song: Zjarr e ftohtë
This makes me dance and try to sing along. Catchy melody and a bit passioned feeling.
    I like this!

    Belgium
    artist: Kate Ryan
Looks exactly like Heather Locklear! I had to take a second look …twice :-s .
    Nice voice.
    song: Je t’adore
Not very original. Typical summer party song.

    Ireland
    artist: Brian Kennedy
Perfect singer for this song, soulful voice
song: Every song is a cry for love
Beautiful ballad but doesn’t really give me anything, quite irrelevant after all. :?

    Cyprus
    artist: Annette Artani
OMG those BOOBS!   Can’t be real! Big mouth, big hair, big tits…
just the voice isn’t big enough. :?
    song: Why angels cry
Not one of these again! Only Celine Dion can make a hit of a song like this…
    if anyone can :-… .

    Monaco
    artist: Séverine Ferrer
    Teenage princess
    song: La coco-dance
Boooooooring! :!: Don’t care if I ever hear this song again.
No dancers can save this song. :(

    F.Y.R. Macedonia
    artist: Elena Risteska
Pretty girl in tiny pants with a voice that’s ok
    song: Ninanajna
CHEAP!!! Let me say that again: CHEAP!

    Poland
    artist: Ich troje
    A show is guaranteed!
So many singers with freeky looks but only the blond girl should actually be singing.
    My head hurts…
    song: Follow my heart
Gasolina!?!? Excuse me… do you really have to go that low? :-s :-$ :x

    Switzerland
    artist: Six4one
Why do they need so many singers to perform this one simple song?
    I don’t get it… :?
song: If we all gave a little
Get real! No one makes songs like this. Sh!t :x

    Moldova
    artis: Arsenium & Gordienko
Nice voices, nice looks and that’s about it. :?
    song: Loca
It’s amazing how little you can make with only a drum machine and a guitarr.

    Israel
    artist: Eddie Butler
R’n’B kind of a guy, not very interesting.
    song: Ze hazman
heard it once, doesn’t get to my memory…
makes me miss the last years ballad they had.
    Now that was beautiful!
    :D :?

    Latvia
    artist: Cosmos
    Finally an accapella band!
I love accapella bands  . This reminds me of a Finnish group called Seminaarinmäen mieslaulajat.
Though these boys can’t put up even as nears as a good show as Semmarit.
    Sounds nice anyway.
    song: I hear your heart
Beautiful song. Something about this touches me…
I’d like to sing along …and I will.

    Norway
    artist: Christine Guldbrandsen
    Beautiful woman with a beautiful voice… :-s
    song: Alvedansen
    :|

    Spain
    artist: Las ketchup
I thought I’d never have to hear from this band again! No!!!
    I still hate them… :x
    song: Bloody Mary
Not that special, but I bet my mom will love this one…

    Malta
    artist: Fabrizio Faniello
    His voice is ok… I think. :?
    song: I do
    ordinary, simple disco humping.

but… no matter what my favorites are the winning songs will probably come from Slovenia and Malta :(

I haven’t watched it for years, but if Terry Wogan likes it then it must be good. My all time favourite British entry was Puppet on a String by Sandie Shaw:

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii wonder if one day that, you’ll say that, you care
If you say you love me madly, I’ll gladly, be there
Like a puppet on a string

Love is just like a merry-go-round
With all the fun in the air
One day I’m feeling down on the ground
Then I’m up in the air
    Are you leading me on?
    Tomorrow will you be gone?

I wonder if one day that, you’ll say that, you care
If you love me madly, I’ll gladly, be there
Like a puppet on a string

I may win on the roundabout
Then I’ll lose on the swings
In or out, there is never a doubt
    Just who’s pulling the strings
I’m all tied up to you
But where’s it leading me to?

I wonder if one day that, you’ll say that, you care
If you say you love me madly, I’ll gladly, be there
Like a puppet on a string

I wonder if one day that, you’ll say that, you care
If you say you love me madly, I’ll gladly, be there
Like a puppet on a string

Like a puppet on a….. string

Oh and Boom bang a bang wasn’t bad either.

      right…

    #210267

    Boom bang-a-bang, boom bang-a-bang
    When you are near
    Boom bang-a-bang, boom bang-a-bang
    Loud in my ear
    Pounding away, pounding away
    Won’t you be mine?
Boom bang-a-bang-bang all the time :D

Hey that lulu looks better now than she did back then
