PB my point was that this statement is misleading. Every case brought before the courts the CPS believe the police can secure a conviction. There are a lot of victims of crime out there who believe their case should have been brought before a court but have been told that there is insufficient evidence . Your statement could mislead people into thinking that becauase its a police officer that is being investigated the enquiry is more thorough.
Dizaei has been up in court 7 years before but was cleared of all charge by a jury.
In line with police procedure he was suspended from duty.

I have been wanting to write a piece in this thread for a few days now, and even today wrote somthing but deleted it. I cannot write what I want to write without an indepth explanation but decided it’s not for me to make it public knowledge.
Don’t get me wrong I am not condoning what this bent copper did for one second and he has finally got what he deserved only a few years too late, but better late than never.
More and more we are hearing stories from all aspects of life of ethnic minorities taking advantage of the “race card”. I feel Desai did not see his judgment day because he used the race card but because he used it so often!
The race card effect often reminds me of the butterfly effect. And if it carries on being used so flippantly, it will cause deeper rifts between communities, and understandably so, there should not be one rule for one and one rule for another.

In short yes…..This man abused the power he had plain and simple…..the previous cases against this man were not proven…if it was because of his claims of rascism that caused him to be aquitted of these charges then i havent seen that…the organisation was labelled rascist in the macpherson report….whether his claims were true or untrue, the fact you say he evaded justice because of those claims need to be shown…. In my opinion, it is the small minded rascist that have created a situation where people like this man can take advantage…. no rascism…..no false claims ….. the man is clearly a power thirsty man…i think in general people of this sort will use all means to their advantage…this should not lessen the fact that their are rascist officers and that people in all institutions will suffer this….it is the rascist here that is at fault…a criminal mind is a criminal mind is a criminal mind…….if he suffered rascism he had every right to let it be known..
