justchat is not responding due to a long running script……….thats’s what the box says at the bottom of my screen when this site has frozen on me which happens nearly every day now………….i click on ‘end script’ then a box pops up saying windows is trying to sort it out……….and eventually it all goes back to being normal………..is it the two large ads oooop there ^ that are causing all this?
i would post this on the techy bit but it takes so long to navigate the boards with all the ads……..i can’t be fooked
I’ve been getting that since the ads appeared too, plus occasional messages from my anti-malware software saying that access to a suspicious website has been blocked.
I haven’t grumbled because I know the site has to be paid for somehow but I’m not as comfortable using the boards as I used to be…oh well :(
It’s an Internet Explorer issue – on IE click the Gear icon(settings) at the upper right corner of the page
Select Internet options then go to advance tab(upper right) then select Reset.. then click reset again.
I get similar on Firefox and Chrome too so I don’t think it’s just an IE issue…in fact I rarey use IE these days.
well, whatever it is ……….it’s chunkin me off as i’ve never had an issue with my lappy freezing before……….c’est la vie and nice to see you posting panda and ty jen for your reply :D
