if you aren’t talking about vigilante punishment, then you must want capital punishment brought back. And the government are very clear that they will not do so.
If we can’t put a bullet through their heads.. what is the best we can hope for?
I just want the fucking scum executed summarily, I dont want monsters breathing the same air i breathe I dont care what the government want and i dont care if bleeding hearts dont like it either, the scum dont deserve another second on this planet

Pete, it appears that the majority of the public would agree with your ‘summary execution’ view. However, along come the ‘do-gooders’ who mention apparently wrong executions (like Derek Bentley etc) and the whole this ends up in an exercise in mass navel gazing – and nothing happens and nothing changes.
Legal retribution seems to be too hard for lots of well meaning people to cope with – more’s the pity, but there it is and we have to get on with it.
Maybe we should ask them nicely not to do it again give them a cigarette and a warm drink and send them on their way safe in the knowledge that we’ve rehabilitated them
