tonite more than ever ive been having probs or i thunk so wiv nortan my anti virus. i keep getting pop ups:
programe:lucomserver_2_5.excs
path:programe files/symantec/live update.
do i block or permit.. :roll: :oops: any help please. andy x

I’m guessing you’re running into trouble with XP’s built in firewall. In the Firewall dialog, go to “exceptions” and add Symantec Antivirus to the list. See if that doesn’t fix the problem.
Oh and since it is a part of Norton Anti Virus – you should permit it to access the internet.
It’s not good to run two firewalls, so assuming you have a
firewall you should turn Windows firewall off. :wink:permit
We have probs with Norton at work, thats why we use Sophos lol.
But our main problem is Ranger lol
Allow it as its just the update its trying to communicate by the looks of it
Yeah Norton sucks thats why the goverment use Sophos.
