Noooooooooooo this is just soooooooooo wrong on soooooooooo many levels! :-…

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-12569011

A restaurant in London’s Covent Garden is serving a new range of ice cream, made with breast milk.

The dessert, called Baby Gaga, is churned with donations from 15 women who responded to an advertisement on an online mothers’ forum.

One of the women, Victoria Hiley, 35, said if adults realised how tasty breast milk was more new mothers would be encouraged to breastfeed. Hello? Curry is tasty, you don’t feed that to your newborn baby!

Each serving of Baby Gaga at Icecreamists costs £14.

Mrs Hiley’s donation was expressed on site and pasteurised before being churned with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest.

Icecreamists founder Matt O’Connor placed an advert appealing for breast milk donations and believes his new recipe will be a success.

“If it’s good enough for our children, it’s good enough for the rest of us,” he said. No no no no [-(

“Some people will hear about it and go yuck – but actually it’s pure organic, free-range and totally natural.” It’s only organic if the mother has only eaten or drunk organic and not taken any medication for the last 10 year – and it’s natural for babies, not adults!

Mrs Hiley, who gets £15 for every 10 ounces of milk she donates to the company, said it was a great “recession beater”.

“What’s the harm in using my assets for a bit of extra cash?” she added. Oooooh no comment! :-#

“I teach women how to get started on breastfeeding their babies. There’s very little support for women and every little helps.” Yep I can see how serving breast milk ice cream in a posh Covent Garden restaurant is going to help…can’t you?
    :?
Mr O’Connor said health checks for the lactating women were the same used by hospitals to screen blood donors.

    No-one’s done anything interesting with ice cream in the last hundred years,” he added. And this is interesting? Eeeek =;

They missed a trick not calling it the raspberry nipple.

I would need photographs of the lady at least. If they was seriously fit maybe i would try it. Is that wierd? Can’t be taking the milk out of some big, sweaty horrorbag.

Personally I wouldn’t try it. Sounds gross and so wrong.

Gaz’s and Wake’s replies made me giggle though………btw Gaz, I didn’ think a handsome “young” specimen of a man you always remind us you are needed the services of a lady of the night….I take it that is how you know how much the going rate is?

As a nursery nurse in the past I have had to feed a baby with a bottle of its mothers own milk… all i can say is it made me wanna gag just tipping a bit on my wrist to check the heat was ok so to even consider eating it…. NO.
