No surprise that Newcastle were one of the clubs raided in light of the corruption scandal, strange how no other clubs have been mentioned. Now Glasgow Rangers have been asked to cooperate.
I’m guessing this is something to do with the Boumsong transfer considering that Souness signed him but it wouldn’t surprise me either if the Gers were under investigation. They’ve certainly been guilty of throwing a helluva lot of money around on players who either aren’t worth that sort of money or are extremely injury prone. You’d think something would show up during a medical?
yes jb boumsong was a free transfer to rangers,i think you will find a lot of the blame lies at the agents doors, they recieve a big percentage of transfer fees as you will know
That’s what I thought (and hoped) Though like I said, there was part of me that thought Rangers were possibly being investigated as well. I’m pretty sure that there would be a few interesting discoveries, and that’s from a Gers fan.
Anyone else believe that this has nothing to do with the Stevens report? Me neither.
