2 February, 2009 at 2:05 pm #12582Well it is already February so how are we all doing with our new year resolutions??? Anyone still managing to keep them or are all your good intensions a distant (probably drunken) memory????? As for me, well I didn’t even start going swimming on a regular basis, but I am continuing with my no smoking and healthy eating carried over from the year before. 2 February, 2009 at 2:45 pm #389697i have failed at my attempt to stop smoking i’m afraid, much to my disgust. however, i have re-joined my yoga and tai-chi classes, i have always eaten healthily
and my weight is on target for my age and height.i just need to battle my nicotine addiction more. GM xxx 2 February, 2009 at 3:48 pm #389698My New Year’s resolution was to clear the decks. A mate at work refers to it as cutting the deadwood. I felt wonderful afterward. It was overdue and very liberating. The feeling is still with me, so if that counts as a resolution, then I am doing well. 5 February, 2009 at 2:05 pm #389699@minim wrote: My New Year’s resolution was to clear the decks. I have failed at my attempt to stop smoking …… GM xxx This is a typically tight-arsed Jock excuse for a New Year’s resolution. They’d do anything to avoid paying taxes – particularly taxes that go to the English!!! No … you keep on smoking 80 a day and paying all that lovely tax to us lot down south. 10 February, 2009 at 6:53 pm #389703Shut it Droopy Drawers. at least we don’t moan over 4 inches of snow ya wimp! we say……Bring it on! and it’s heading back south, so stick that in your 100 john players and smoke it. pah! 10 February, 2009 at 7:18 pm #389704I’d love 4 ” 10 February, 2009 at 7:18 pm #389705that just sounds wrong in more ways than one
