new sunday night drama………the moors murders….WHY???

Well, I probably wouldn’t have watched it, but will no after seeing the interest it has raised.

I don’t know the story that well – I had never heard of them when I as younger – only really realised who they were a few years back when some ‘artist’ done THAT picture of her made out of children’s handprints :evil:

i hope you are all well.

having read the book on this a few years ago, i can honestly say that i doubt
very much if i will be watching this programme.

i got as far as chapter 3 in the book where hyndley and brady had just killed
the little girl lesley anne downy, if my memory serves me well, she was just 10 yrs old.

this little girl was continuously raped by BOTH hyndley and brady, whilst one was performing sickening, perverted acts on this little girl, the other was taking pictures of it.

all of this was tape recorded, to which i may add, will probably be played in this documentry where you will hear the voice of some child actor.

this little girl begs them both to take her back to her mammy, her screams seem to go on for what seems an eternity, she is then strangled by both hyndley and brady and her broken little body then dumped in a shallow grave.

i urge any of you who have young children, please DO NOT let them watch this documentry
this is strictly ADULT viewing.

and please, let’s keep this thread a non-argumentative one.

remember, we are speaking about innocent children who where murdered.
as a mark of respect to their parents and families let’s keep this respectfull.
