Emma Gough, a devout Jehovah’s Witness cuddled her newborn twins – then died just hours later after refusing a blood transfusion. She suffered complications after childbirth and lost a substantial amount of blood. Her life could have been saved however she had ticked a form before the birth insisting she should not be given blood.
i dont have a problem with people who follow a religion in general, but i really think that when it comes to a matter of life or death, as in this case, people need to see sense. Her family im sure could have overridden her wishes and insisted that she be given blood, but instead they chose to let her die so that she could stand by her principles. Her newborn twins will now grow up without a mom. What a senseless waste of a young life.

I hope these twins are removed from this family for their safety, babies dont pray to any damned god so why should they be subjected to this cult until they are brainwashed by dogma. their muppet of a mother deserves her demise for abandoning her babies when she should have been thinking about their well being and their future not listening to dictat from a so called god.
i hope the father of these children is investigated by social services for allowing the death of their mother when he could have saved her by simply signing a piece of paper. should he be allowed to raise these babies now we know that if they ever have a serious accident or even need their tonsils or appendix removed they could die without anyone being able to stop it. how mad can people be.

well in fairness the mother was unconscious and not able to actually answer the drs but she had previously filled in a form sayng she should not be allowed blood
who knows maybe if she where awake she may of changed her mind?
its her family and her husband who stook to her wishes
