I am a single, disabled mom of 3 beautiful children, 2 are special needs.
What day from hades already!!!!
I woke up at 5:45 a.m. and heard my daughter crying (14 yr. old mentally disabled) she was trying to get her blanket out of her room because she had an accident through 2 pull-ups and everything was soaked including her!
I gave her a bath and started washing all the sheets and 3 blankets she sleeps with ( it is very cold in here, I have to keep the gas down because it is so very expensive and we cannot afford it)
Then, we woke up my 11 yr. old son ( he is mentally disabled, but not as severe as my daughter)
he was whiny and did not want to get dressed. Finally I got all 3 children off to school (my 16 yr. old is self sufficient thank God!)
Then, I found the mess in the kitchen, apparantly my daughter got up earlier then 5:45! There was cereal, milk, peanut butter and jelly all over the place, even jelly spilled in the burners of the stove!
I am already exhausted for the day and they will be home in 2 1/2 hours!
AHHHH! Thanks for letting me vent!

21 November, 2005 at 7:28 pm #171273pmsl- just drop us a line when you’re on the road.
I’ve never had to do an emergency stop or reverse around a corner in 19 years but Im sure the knowledge will be handy if ever needed. Is it your first time?
