19 August, 2006 at 3:12 pm #236053I’m visiting England next weekend with a load of Dutch mates and part of our itineray is a guided tour of the Old Trafford stadium. Being a Leeds fan myself I have a special loathing for the place….. but knowing that a “REAL” hero has graced the building it will make the trip worthwhile.
GOOD LUCK PAUL….. =D>

21 August, 2006 at 4:37 pm #236055So how did it go? Anyone see him on telly? Bet he was ‘over the moon’ at the performance!
21 August, 2006 at 9:03 pm #236056he had a great time!
yep, i taped it, and got it on my phone too, though it didnt come out too good. ive not seen him yet but heard from his mum to say he loved it!
he came out holding gary neville’s hand, and had his man u cap on (as he is very concious of his lack of hair at the mo bless). he actually looked really well on tv, so it came across much better than expected.
just pleased he was well enough this week to go the long journey and see it through. brave little boy :)
21 August, 2006 at 11:00 pm #236057Wow what a brave little lad, an inspiration to us all. I expect it was an experience he will never forget
23 August, 2006 at 8:30 pm #236058thankyou arty it certainly was, and we now know just how much it benefitted him…. he had the scan re-done today and the cancer has gone! :D
we are all elated, and his mum is over the moon. he isnt quite out the woods yet, still treatment ahead to ensure his recovery but its looking better than it has ever looked for him.
click below for a really bad quality video (me holding my mobile up to the telly lol) of the beginning of the match on sunday. if you can make it out he has the black man u top on and black man u hat. the quality is rubbish, obviously, but you get the picture!
