Islam for example is supposed to mean ‘peace; but it can be hard to get a single example of this but many many example of opposite . we respect females here but others treat them as objects. for example Uk allows others to have more than one wife as its religion and tradition ( even though not ours and we find that offensive) . we even PAY benefits to ALL the wives. yet they in many case despise our attitudes and religions. the world is going to change in next decade or so and it won’t be for benefit of residents whom were brought up to encompass all walks of life and all cultures when one group is not willing to do so and is getting premium treatment above residents wishes.aspirations etc . even this mailing will be subject review and removal if it causes ‘offence;.

That is the type of scarifying post-truth world that has been created by brexit and Trump. The mail Online specialises in that kind of politics; so does the Trump-supporting altright group in between their sieg heil salutes. Take some complex issue and simplify in order to play on people’s fear and build up a prejudice. Or just lie outright.

It worked in electing trump and in passing brexit, so we can only expect more.

Polygamy is also illegal in the UK. No marriage contracted in the UK by a Muslim is legal. For reasons of international law, polygamous marriages contracted outside the UK in a country where polygamy is illegal are recognised as legal, but any wife beyond the first is not allowed into the country unless she can be admitted under other immigration rules. Any wife beyond the first is not allowed to claim  any benefit as a married woman – she can claima s a single woman, along with any other immigrant who is a single woman.

That doesn’t mean that polygamous marriages don’t take place illegally. I’m sure they do. Some Mormon men have illegal secret polygamous marraiges in the US, and are punished when caught. Some British people do shoplifting, but I wouldn’t say that all Brits are shoplifters. The law is cvlear, though. No polygamous marriages are allowed within the UK, and the polygamous marraiges of immigrants are not recognised for purposes of bebnefits etc.

As for the police recommending people to sharia courts rathe than UK courts, what a pile of codswallop. Sharia courts are subordinate to UK law, and operate as family councils. They are seen as useful advice centres for the muslim community, and there are about 30 of them in the UK – not the 80 claimed by that People’s Toff-with-a-Pint, Farage. They are subordinate to UK law, though inevitably there are people who want them to b replace UK law.

That doesn’t mean that there are no illegal sharia courts operating. Illegal faith schools operate too. But any cop who is caught trying to direct people to a sharia court which is a substitute for UK law will be treated to the full rigour of UK law.

I’m expecting many other lies to be peddled. It worked with brexit; so take a successful tactic and run with it. I’ve ehard about immigrants being paid to do driving lessons among other lies! The final result will be a religious war, in other words a race war, if some people have their way.

The growing strength and alsrmist tactics of the Far Right is now recognised. Let’s hope that people are ready to resist as they resisted in the 1930s.

I never once mentioned my ethnicity, because I don’t care about race. I said I was born in a non-English speaking country.
