I think you’re missing Ms K’s point, drac, but I’m not going to put words in her mouth.
The Remainers are still in a state of shock. But we’ll see once the phony war over brexit ends- which it will soon. Every ambitious Eurocrat is desperate to get a place on the brexit negotiating team, I hear.
Remainers aren’t as identifiable as Muslims anyway. I don’t go to the Remain Church or wear a Remain veil etc.
But BB can blame an anti-Muslim Muslim who’s also a racist – like me. In fact, he already does in his long rants – oh sorry, his well-thought out essays
14 January, 2017 at 8:58 pm #1019772First time this thread has made me properly laugh. Draculina you really do need to read back what you have written previously, you keep contradicting yourself. For example I did NOT mention race in regards to Muslims and there you are “putting words in my mouth” because you suggest I did. Do try and be consistent and please, stick to the facts and not make them up, to suit your particular viewpoint.
You have CLEARLY stated previously on this thread, that you have an issue with ALL Muslims in Europe (including British Muslims) who refuse to accept your brand of Western Christian liberal fundamentalism which personally, I found rather chilling and sinister to read.

She’s trying to be an arbiter of who is truely English and who isn’t, which is ironically what she is accusing me of.

I think the people BB was talking about are the cultural relativists, you saw how Tapioca tried to justify the execution of gays in Saudi.
For example I did NOT mention race in regards to Muslims and there you are “putting words in my mouth” because you suggest I did.
You even describe Muslims like they are another species, a sub species. Just pin a star on their chest and be done with it.
You seem to have suggested there is a racial component of being a muslim in this message.

Nope, that is definitely not my oppinion
who refuse to accept your brand of Western Christian liberal fundamentalism which personally, I found rather chilling and sinister to read.
Again with me being a fundamentalist christian?
14 January, 2017 at 9:29 pm #1019777I really can’t continue a conversion with someone who is so disingenuous about what they have written previously and who keeps shifting the goal posts, to disguise their obvious hatred for Muslims in those previous comments. Shoveling in countless red herrings to slyly disguise that blatant Islamophobia.
Enjoy.

High Priest Juncker blesses you!
14 January, 2017 at 10:04 pm #1019779I am English though. Anyone who would speak to me in person wouldn’t be able to tell that I wasn’t born here. You and SHR like to put words into my mouth, it is a minority of muslims that I have a problem with. It would be nice if there was a muslim involved in this debate so you could see that I do not have any negative feelings towards them.
Dear me….I am assuming now you are English because you have no foreign accent? Yes that definitely makes you English …..good one

That was one minor implication of what I said yes, but I meant more the way that I speak and my interests and views.

Missed this one…..now you think you are truly English even though you weren’t born here…..I’d like to ask Tinsel if she thinks Drac, who wasn’t born in this country, has from what I recall parents from 2 different nations is English or British. Or indeed anyone English person here…just out of curiosity….and no it doesn’t really matter what she is or isn’t….she brought the subject up and as she likes a good debate I got my teeth into it too

To be specific, my biological parents are from Spain and either Norway or Sweden, i’m not clear. But I was adopted by an English family, who lived in France briefly.
But I will welcome any opinions on this, I still think of myself as English.
