If you say so Dr Drac if you say so, personally I learned more about religion and other cultures on building sites than any silly little right wing newspaper.
I’m sure this is true, but how much does the upper management of the site(s) mix with the workers?
9 July, 2017 at 8:52 pm #1059947I’m not even sure who the ’employer’ would be in this case. Many construction workers are self employed, or work for smaller companies who are contracted out blocks of work. The person running the site might not even know who is operating the cranes on any given day as far as I can tell.
Large sites employ a site manager, with various minions, to oversee health and safety, co-ordinate the actual work and organizing employees/ sub contractors etc and if a high lift self erecting mobile or tower crane was involved, it was probably was a larger site.

Upper management (the likes of Barratt ) have nothing to do with direct recruitment in large building contracts other than dealing with initial quotes, price and cost via their minions lower down the food chain and probably never set foot on a site until the job is complete, if they ever do. At least in my experience.
9 July, 2017 at 9:04 pm #1059954and the employer if he knowingly turned a blind eye
I don’t expect it’s something they even thought about, given my experience with construction workers.
Then perhaps you can provide evidence, given your experience Dr Drac, when a serious accident has occurred on a building site that can be directly attributed to Ramadan and fasting. You can can’t you?
Another logical argument from the JC bird brain.. I suppose because no one can give an example of buildings with identical materials burning down in the manner grenfell tower did, that means in your world the government had no obligation to ensure safety by removing the potential hazard in the tower before it killed many people…. just wait till the tragedy occurs- great stuff. In this case, the hazard is the muslim operator so in your eyes because nothing has happened yet, it’s perfectly fine for someone disorientated with lack of nourishment to be in charge of huge cranes potentially causing carnage. Like I said , please don’t continue on your DNA line for the sake of all of us.
Lol. Rudeboy logic (and abuse) You do realize Muslim pilots ferry thousands of passengers during Ramadan right? Muslim surgeons operate on thousands of patients right? The even allow Muslims in the British Army to handle automatic weapons during Ramadan and big shiny shells and missiles.
so according to you using your apparent facts , because muslims are conducting these activities during ramadan – again you provide no evidence, we should just turn a blind eye to someone disorientated on a crane and hope for the best as others are at it. Great stuff makes complete sense as always. Tiredness has been proven to be just as deadly as drink driving behind a wheel so if Mr Smith next door goes out p1ssed as a newt and comes back unscathed by your logic that means we can all have a tipple and take to the roads as others are doing it .

The National University of Athens wanted to use some of my research to create a short series of lectures and lab excersises. So I’m here to work with the staff on that project, and to hold some introductionary sessions for any students who haven’t gone home for summer yet.
But mostly it’s an excuse to visit Greece.

Muslim British squaddies driving tanks during Ramadan and live exercises is all the evidence I require. Unless you know something the British Armed Forces don’t?
9 July, 2017 at 9:22 pm #1059963Oh and by the way Dr Drac, Rudeboy has cliamed he is a property developer perhaps you should ask him all about these issues, he must be fluent in Health and Safety regulations on building sites.
