I remember Pete before he was famous, he worked in a record shop called “Probe” in Liverpool city centre. He dressed over the top then and always stood out in his indie style of dressing , his clothes with feathers hanging from them! he looked like a huge dream catcher. He was quite feared by the many customers that didn’t share his taste in music., once you worked up the courage to ask for a certain record, they said they could feel him stare into their soul, he’d pout and either walk off and ignore the request or grab the record and throw it at them over the counter haha., he was a character even before he was famous that’s for sure, he had a waspish, sharp sense of humour
