What would you prefer, £100,000 of taxes spent to fund a Sikh parade, and an Afro Caribbean carnival and another 8 non English cultural events/organisations
OR
£10,000 on a St George’s Day parade and £90,000 spent on more police, more nurses, more dentists, more teachers, more firemen, basicly your everyday essential, potentially life saving needs?

You don’t get many teachers, firemen, coppers, nurses or dentists for £90,000 nowadays.

You would think the sikh community would prefer more police on the streets than police guarding the sikh’s carrying swords illegally on the streets.
In that respect, do the sikh’s care about their religion more than everyone generally?
emma they didnt say we can have more police funding or a parade ffs it wasnt a choice and they plumped for the parade the police didnt get less money that year.
