This is such a difficult subject, so many people have opinion on multicultural living.. All I have to say on the subject is to the powers that be i spose, stop forcin ‘political correctness on us’ let living with our fellow humans come naturally. I am not on about the hard core racists among our population of course there should be laws about downright nasty racism…..What i am onnabout is things like lets not advertise christmas for fear it will upset our overseas residents, etc etc…..spend money on educating us by all means about the different cultures but please please spend money on education our overseas visitors and residents about us too.
hmmmmmmmm not sure i got what i meant accross and sincerely hopes it doesnt sound racist cos its not meant to……..I do have to say tho people do have predjudices not just against colour or nationality, but against a whole range of things, red hair, names, size, religion, the list is endless…..take names for instance when i woz expecting my first child i said to my husband how about naming the baby ben if it is a boy, my then husband said ohhhhhh noooooo i had an uncle Ben and he woz a real B*****d!!!!!!!! i rest my case..
come on guys lets live and let live and remember its adults that install prejudices into our young folk ….
hugsssssssssss xxxxxxx

nothing to do with the communitys set up with in communitys or the un fair displacemant of council funding etc etc  so its ok for an adult to force a marrage on there daughter :?: putting a woman in there place makeing them the slaves that they will be used as by there mother in laws :?: surly thats prejudiced against all females :!: its also against the beliefs of the majority in this country and what is fundamentaly a christian sociaty yet because it is an a front to certain religions the government back down on passing a law against it.so yea,i guess your right,it is adults who install prejudices into the young,as i see it if your muslim do what your want cos no one will stop you.even if it does mean treating another human being (as the germans once called them) unter mention!

not many people know this emmalush but i’m as black as bread when tory girl tries to toast it
are you saying i do not have the right to be in england because i am multi-cultural?
very multi-cultural i am, just last week i thought i’d go absolutely wild and have a cup of tea not made in yorkshire
Oi!! my toast is legendary!!
PS. emmalush, the reason why people are like they are is because of small minded bigots who cant see past the colour of someones face. Ring a bell does it?

Do you mean people are bigots because they dont like multiculturalism?
13 June, 2006 at 8:16 pm #222750You know what I think? If people choose to live in this country, they should accept our laws and our denominating religion. I also believe that people should be allowed to practise their own religion where applicable, but not to expect priviledges, if they have chosen to be a citizen in a foreign country. If I went and lived in a different country I would be expected to follow their laws and learn their language. But what I don’t accept and will never accept are people that think it is okay to treat people from a different country with contempt, nor do I think it is okay to shout racial abuse at them. Perhaps if people were more understanding of people that came to live in this country or any other country, then perhaps foreign citizens wouldnt feel the need to segregate and live within their own culture or denominating country with other citizens, and maybe they would feel safer walking the streets. But until such a time, it will continue to be a part of our society, especially while the likes of the BNP and the NF are still rife among us. I don’t care who likes or doesnt like my honest opinion. Just to clarify I do not mean illegal immigrants!! I mean genuine people that come to live here!! Regardless!!

So you believe in dictatorism then.
(Er….. To help readers , Emma means ”dictatorship’ – Ed)
England is a secular country, we should not be forced to accept any religion, domonating or not.

Other cultures beside the English normality of life, do naturally segregate themselves, thats why multiculturalism has not, cannot, and never will work.

It is not the BNP who created our sesspit multicultural society.
You cannot expect and force people to like someone or something.
Not all non BNP supporters like everyone and everything culturally.
The BNP are anti-war, maybe we should deal with those who want war?13 June, 2006 at 10:08 pm #222752:lol: I knew you would read exactly what you wanted into that and the bigger picture would go over your head!!

Well the BNP are anti the Iraq war but nowhere (including the BNP website) have I seen any indication that the BNP are a pacifist party which abhors conflict of any description
