My computer would have block it.

I do spend money on ant virus and firewalls.

I don’t use any free software and don’t download any free music.

Has I always say to people, “What you pay for is what you get”

Why spend £700 on a laptop and £20 a month on broadband if you don’t want to spend £60 on good ant virus and firewalls?

You can either spend money on good ant virus or you can have problems.

    It’s a bit of a no brainier.

cant say i blame you Doa, ants can play havoc with your pc

Thanks for all the info Doa ……….. i dont think being a no brainer quite comes into it. its a new pc and a family friend who by the way is very technically minded and well up on his use etc of computers has assured me that its easier to get into fort knox then it is into my comp. He set it up alls i do is use it.

I have a desk pc and the older laptop this is a new one. I have been assured and reasurred that the problem is nothing to do with my laptop /comp… that it is an msn problem.

I think i said this started before xmas … sorry thats a mistake it was the week after that it started

As for paying for anti virus programme i actually think you have a point there. I purchased zone alarm for years on my other laptop and had no probs. This might be just a coincidence ….. who knows.

Ive used these and would use them again. An advisor is personally assigned to your problem for free and helps you sort it out. It takes a few days and some time running scans etc but they are very thorough.

    Oh thanks for than Sharngooner.

Its nice to know someone loves me,…….. and the rest of the gang.

Its just one of the few sites wasted my time with.

Computers have always been a hobby, saying that I was much happier in the days of the zx 81 and the BBC micro self build home computer.

The 286 chips sets have taken all the fun out of computers for me.

Now with easy to use and come off the shelf and work out of the box.

Where is the fun it that?

And this is why we have computer viruses, any moron with a keyboard can learn to program and then cause havoc.

But the diy sites are funnier and test my skills more.

Did I tell you about the women who try to hang a picture in your kitchen and end up with a 3-foot hole in her kitchen wall?

I have antivirus software on my home and work computer (set up to high) but this does not stop the msn message popping up saying that Chess has logged on to a mobile device. I dont down load music and have shop bought antivirus stuff and fire wall so i dont understand why the message still pops up?
Anyone helped her yet?? if not we could all delete her and not tell her???
