i know we have quite a heated debate here……

I have to say there is nothing so nice as to sit in my mum’s sun room in the evening waiting for ‘her’ fox to come for his dinner….. you have no idea when he will turn up……..you have to sit there completely still……no noise………you watch the rabbits grazing on the slopes then in the corner of your eye you see fox and he’s there at the patio door waiting to take his cake from her hand then eat from his own bowl ……….priceless :D

“To help urban foxes, the charity suggests putting out cheese, boiled potatoes, raw chicken, bread and table scraps at dusk – but only at times when natural food resources may be low, such as during the depths of winter.”. RSPCA

Just looked this up… as I saw a fox …in next door garden yesterday morning !
Also just to point out that I have never put food out for foxes but have during winter time regularly filled a bird table with wild bird feed.

I showed that to Laurence. He said he might not be around this winter as his life expectancy is only 2 3 years if he’s lucky.

He added, before eating his food in the evening sunshine, that he intends to make the most of everyday.

Laurence has never had bamboo. If he was to raid my store, I’d give him a couple of black eyes! :D
