I don’t understand why urban foxes have a bad name. They are doing what comes naturally to all living creatures and looking for food.
The fella I feed just forages for food in the bushes near me. He hasn’t picked the lock of my front door and helped himself to the contents of fridge and freezer, so he hasn’t burgled me.
I live near a town centre so Mr Fox and his pals help keep the streets clean by clearing up after humans who drop uneaten fast food in the street.
He doesn’t go around spraying graffiti everywhere.
He doesn’t get drunk and start a fight, or deal drugs.
He hasn’t mugged me, he doesn’t need to, because he gets off his ass every night and “works” that is, looking for his food.
He gets on well with my cats – he and Morris were sitting side by side in the sunshine the other day.
All in all, he’s great to have around. :P

He plays Sgt Hathaway in Lewis. He’s from the Edward Fox / James Fox acting dynasty.
the fox that visits my daughters garden likes chickens…..live ones ……..all 6 of them :o(
I’m sorry about your daughter’s chickens. But the fox is looking for food.
Laurence was sitting on my doorstep at 7.30 this evening patiently awaiting his food.
He had cat food and a sausage and bacon sandwich.
He didn’t leave a tip, though. :twisted:
