    You’re not wrong there – I would hate to be just starting to get into the housing market at this time – it’s astronomical :shock:

    And some of the DUMPS that still have high price tags is shocking.

    I know, well me and my bf have talked about getting a flat together, and for a half decent one its 70,000 – 100,000, for a flat!

    I remember it was only a few years ago I thought £100,000 was a lot of money……

    …….it certainly doesn’t buy much these days. :shock:

    That sounds about right – I’m glad I don’t live in the centre of town – looking at around the £200,000 mark just for a flat (sometimes only a 1-bedroom one)

    :shock: well I’ve read about a company that builds new houses to rent then after a year they give you the option of buying and take what you’ve paid in rent off the mortgage, if you dont want to buy you can carry on living there or move to a different one of there houses. I’m going to look in that, think its a good idea cos then if u dont like the house or area you dont have to buy
