eek im horrified.. im learning gaelic at the mo. and Esme allows me to talk to her on the phone in both our ” mother tongues” she is fluent in it !

You’re right, of course, Cath. I feel suitably chastened. I’ve no excuses. I knew it was wrong and I did it anyway. I think the only thing to do is hang my head in shame. I’ve let everyone down. More importantly, I’ve let myself down. It’s an outrage.
