BBlue…. when your older and have kids… you’ll apprectiate you own mother more..!!! believe me.. I gave my mam such a hard time growin up… to the point where guilt now lies in my path..! its easy to bite the bullet and say your sorrys…. your mum will probaly be only lookin out for U… at the end of the day she will be the best friend u’ve ever had and will ever have…. but sadly u don’t realise that when younger..!
but you’ll look back and think JMMOG… that MJ was right… lol
well… first of all I will never ever want to have kids. Life’s too short to be wasted on them
and I know my mom loves me and only wishes the best for me. But WHY does she have to be so bloody stupid!?!? why?! she doesn’t have all the answers, she doesn’t know everything and first of all: SHE DOESN’T KNOW ME!!! :x just because she’s seen me growing up doesn’t mean she has any idea who I am… and she cruelly left me alone when I needed some one to help me through the hard times in my life. And I will never forget the time when she looked at me straight in the eye and said: “I think you are a fool”
she loves me only because I’m her daughter (she kind of has to) but as person… she doesn’t even like me. :?Oh BBlue….. re-read what you typed…!! why you say… well maybe if you start will actually airing your feelings to your mother. When I read you post. ( in a mother eyes ) I was very disheartned. Yet it was very familiar.. think ive have said these words myself at some point about my Mother. You Mother can’t help you if she doesnt know theirs a problem. She will just presume its the chip on your shoulder that children get towards their parents. She is not a mind reader, if you actually spoke with her, or even pen’ed a letter to her atleast she will know YOUR feelings, then try to guide you.
I think you should be very lucky like myself we both have our Mothers. sadly not all are so fortunate….14 March, 2006 at 10:01 am #204035Well i make a biggy of Mothers Day for my mom anyway. As for my husbands mom well she isnt exactally a half decent mom, she was always part time and he isnt so bothered about mothers day but i always get her cards from me and him and 1 from our girls. But my mom deserves it all she is the best mother in the whole world and i am thankful i have her. His mother………dont care :?
Anyone can be a MOTHER but it takes someone special to be a MOM x

Agree with every word 8)
14 March, 2006 at 10:50 am #204039I’ve already ordered the flowers, although I’m of the opinion that you shouldn’t just show someone you care on birthdays, christmas etc so I try to do little things now and again to show I appreciate them

I know – my MIL is a pain – she smokes & drinks (heavily), has no manners whatsoever  Yet she wonders why the kids never stay over
I’ll still get her something nice for OH to give her on Mothers’ day though
