Avebury is better than Stonehenge (in my opnion)…older, and you can walk amongst the stones and touch them.

16 September, 2011 at 12:17 pm #477995Ive been lucky enough to visit all the places mentioned apart from Ireland, where I’d love to go.
We are very lucky that the British Isles are extremely beautiful and we are never far from somewhere nice. I love Knaresborough, Stratford upon Avon, North Yorkshire, The Cotswolds, historical London, Edinburgh, Snowdonia….and many other places too numerous to mention.
Important thing is to get out there and enjoy it as much as you can.
